CMS published a notice December 28 announcing the final federal share DSH allotments for fiscal year (FY) 2006 and the preliminary federal share DSH allotments for FY 2008. The notice also announces the final FY 2006 and preliminary FY 2008 limitations on aggregate DSH payments that states may make to institutions for mental disease and other mental health facilities. The notice does not include the final FY 2007 amounts since the associated actual expenditures for FY 2007 are not available at this time.
