CMS Call on Pioneer Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) - June 7

CMS is hosting a “special open door forum” on the Pioneer Accountable Care Organization (ACO) Model on June 7, 2011. The Pioneer ACO model is a shared savings program designed for health care organizations that are experienced in coordinating patient care in different care settings and that are prepared to enter payment arrangements with financial accountability and performance incentives.
