HHS Conference on HIPAA Security
The HHS Office for Civil Rights and the National Institute of Standards and Technology' (NIST) Computer Security Division are hosting a conference May 11 and 12, 2010 entitled “Safeguarding Health Information: Building Assurance through HIPAA Security.” The conference will provide a forum to discuss the current health information technology security landscape, as well as practical strategies, tips, and techniques for implementing the requirements of the HIPAA Security Rule.
